Note from the Head
The Week that Was………
Rather a ‘mixed bag’ weather-wise, but thankfully Years 3 & 4 had a lovely day for their trip to West Stow. The children were fascinated by the re-construction of a Saxon village which really brought History alive for them. They were able to see the construction materials used in the houses and how daily life would have been lived. Thank you to everyone who accompanied this visit. It has been lovely to see so many parents attending parent consultation evenings; thank you for your on-going support.
Open Afternoon – 10th March 2 p.m. – Parents are welcome to come into school to look at children’s work and displays across the school. Governors will be interviewing candidates for the school’s new headteacher on that day too, so you may get a glimpse of the new head!
Red Nose Day – 13th March - The children are invited to come to school wearing something red on this day in exchange for a donation to Comic Relief.
