Note from the Head
The Week that Was………
A very warm welcome back to school for this new term and I hope that everyone was able to have a good summer break.
It is a privilege to be writing my first Newsletter as Headteacher here at Brampton and I would like to thank everyone for making me feel so welcome, including the staff and Mrs Watkins who have all made the handover process so straightforward. It will take me a while to get to know everyone but many people have spoken of the ‘family feel’ to the school which has been evident already. This is something that I would look to build upon as I believe that we all need to work together to ensure the best possible outcomes for all our children.
We give a special welcome to all the new children and parents who have started here this term, including those in Reception and in classes across the school. The children have come back full of smiles and have settled in very well already and there has been great excitement with the opening of the new classrooms and new interactive boards in every classroom. There has obviously been a lot of activity at the school over the summer and we are in the process of completing the final few jobs, especially in Brambles and Kids Club. It will take a while to get used to new routines and how we use the space but we will keep you updated with progress but thank you for your patience and co-operation over the past few months.
It has been good to meet you this week and please do come and introduce yourselves!
