Note from the Head
Actually, the first two events happened at the end of last week… Reception children had a wonderful (if rather warm) time at Woburn Safari park where they were fascinated by the animals and Year 6 had a brilliant day at Hinchingbrooke Park getting thoroughly muddy! Thank you to the Reception and Year 6 teams for organising these days; a special thank you to Claire Dwight for inspiring us to hold, and helping to plan, a Forest Schools day for Year 6. Thank you once again to the BVSA for organising the end of year discos – despite the heat, the children had a great time and £911 was raised for PTA funds.
Teachers, teaching assistants and children have been clearing cupboards, packing boxes (and filling skips!) over the past few days. As I write tables, chairs and crates are wending their way from the upper KS2 corridor to the KS1 hall where they will be stored until the mobile classrooms arrive.
